Love coming in. Always a great latte. Can get busy. Millennium Park is next door; great place to walk around with your drink.

First time visiting Chicago and needed my "good" morning coffee after landed. I was so glad to find this place quick enough to have my morning boost. Iced latte with almond cream tart....perfect way to start my tourist day in Chicago!!

Smaller then expected. More people using Computers than drinking coffee. We had no where to sit.

I love intelligentsia coffee! Such a great place to hang out with friends and get some work done right in the heart of downtown Chicago!

Excellent coffee and atmosphere. The pour-over changes most days so there's something different available. Far better coffee than Starbucks.

Best quality and best service in all of Chicago. There are dairy free options for the lattes and all of the coffees are superbly roasted. I tried the Chai Tea Latte and it is the best I have ever had. Highly recommend trying intelligentsia

Great coffee, need a little more comfortable chairs but overall good place to have coffee and conversation. I do highly recommended it.

I really enjoy coffee from Intelligentsia every time I get the opportunity to drink it! Being from West Palm Beach, FL, I have actually had Intelligentsia at several coffee shops in my area, which is why I had to visit the one here in Chicago when I came! The quality of the coffee was remarkable as always, being that it is specialty coffee and all. However, the atmosphere was not that much of a specialty coffee shop that I would expect. I loved the art on the walls, but it was set up to really encourage people to get in, buy coffee, and get out. There wasn't much room to sit and enjoy the brew.

Super chill location with great coffee. I loved the nice naturally lighting (big windows) and the decor was clean and fresh (some flowers in the tables). Staff was attentive and friendly and it was a great place to setup for a bit of work, although wouldn’t be able to stay here all day.

One of the best coffee places in Downtown Chicago. Fresh medium roasted coffee, tasty desserts. Good wifi connection.

I know Intelligentsia has awesome coffee but this time we ordered Hot Chocolate as well as we have guest visiting Chitown and we needed a breather. We were all blown away by the Flat White and Hot Chocolates we ordered, real coffee and real chocolate in our drinks, nothing but the best ingredients and great skills by the barristers!

I’m a huge fan of pour over coffee, and intelligentsia is a great choice for quality coffee. Atmosphere was great and it was a good place to set up and work. The only problem with this place, is that it gets a little busy and therefore, it can feel a little tight when working here. Overall, I would highly recommend checking this place out!

Very good coffee here with a wide selection of whole beans bagged and ready to take home. Small indoor area with a little bit of seating. A few seats at the counter make up for a somewhat small space.

It’s pure hipster, and that’s not a bad thing...They offer all the must have methods of brewing, along with prices to match. Five dollars for a pour over seems a bit heavy, even in San Francisco (my hometown), the five dollar pour over isn’t the standard yet. On the menu you’ll find cold brew, a trendy coffee mock cocktail, and a very average latte. The store itself is small, but more cozy than cramped. They also have a few tables on the sidewalk that are definitely worth grabbing on a nice day. The service was standard coffee shop, and there was an offering of donuts from Firecakes.

Definitely a high end coffee place. A normal coffee is not nearly as costly. A matcha latte can set you back $7. However, I must say that it was good and flavorful. Would recommend giving yourself sometime to wait in line as well. Should definitely stop by if your a coffee enthusiast

Kind staff. Automated pour overs. Nice artwork, but vibe is just okay. For a 15 dollar coffee I didn't have a card with story included- like shops in Cali provide. Underwhelming experience. Still neat to visit Intelligensia!

Nicely crowded coffee shop that serves a variety of coffee methods. The art decor at this location is quite unique... my latte was scorching hot so I gave this place a 4 star. They also offer a variety of beans & brewing methods for the home.

They serve great coffee here, some snacks like croissants and pies, bottles juices. There are also shelves with coffee beans, coffee cups, T-shirts, teas and coffee making devices.There were many people working on the laptops, but I haven't noticed the sockets. The music is calm and quiet, so I would say here is rather a working atmosphere. This place definitely attracts a trendy crowd.

Really awesome and chill little coffee shop. Knowledgeable and friendly baristas. Brightly lit, lots of places to set. Great music and a laid-back vibe. Lots of wonderful varieties of coffee and some great pastries to go along with them as well.

Such a great coffee shop and excellent execution of the intelligentsia brand! I’ve been to Intelli all across the U.S. and this place was fast, friendly, and efficient! Great for grabbing a quick excellent cup of coffee or sitting and enjoying a conversation or getting work done.

Coffee was really good - don't get me wrong - but my cappuccino was really quite miniscule. The coffee was smooth, dark and was complimented really nicely by the milk and thus the foam in it, but by no means was there enough. I got about 6 ounces of cappuccino for my purchase.... that's nothing.

Solid coffee and great snacks. I had heard good things about the coffee there and I was glad to find that it lived up to the hype.

TLDR: found my slice of home in Chicago 1 best coffee yet!Found this little gem while strolling the streets. They knew what a flat white coffee was and man did they nail it!Amazing flavor, perfect milk and a lovely rich aroma.Worth checking out however it was a little busy when I went, so just plan ahead!

Love the coffee here. Intelligentsia does A great job not only serving a great product, but making sure their employees are educated on the product. They also offer a plethora of different coffees from different countries. They didn’t amazing job of getting large lines in and out very quickly.

I absolutely LOVED this coffee shop. Amazing environment, kind staff, and exceptional coffee. I purchased a cappuccino and it was fantastic. It was the perfect blend of foam with smooth espresso. My husband and I went back the next day to try lattes and they were beautiful. I really enjoy the aesthetic of lattes, but most importantly lattes need to be hot and that you can taste the espresso, not just the milk. This place impressed me with their consistency. Can you please have a location in Indianapolis?!

Was visiting Chicago and heard about Intelligentsia. Ordered an oat milk mocha. I love the oat milk, the prices are standard, and the atmosphere inside was wonderful. Excellent service, will definitely be returning next time I am in the city.

Not a place for a quick, cheap cup of coffee, but the price matches the quality. My pour over was fantastic and the staff were all very nice nice. Definitely recommend if you're looking to indulge.

Wow! The line out of the door on a Saturday morning should have been enough of an indicator, this place is AMAZING!The tea, coffee and pastries were all exceptional. They mean business when it comes to doing things to perfection!

This coffee does not disappoint. Plenty of options, quick service, and indoor and outdoor seating that's perfect for people watching. Years ago I used to study inside at the same location and was happy to see that the setup hasn't drastically changed.

I’ve tried a number of coffee shops in Chicago and still will have to say that Intellligentsia is the best one for single origin pour over coffee. The pastries they offer are also very good. I am less of a fan of their espresso based drinks. The cappuccino I had wasn’t that great. Its very popular and the coffee is good but not the best. Poor selection of food. What i dislike, and is offensive is that they act as if their to cool for school. They are either to important to be botgered by customer involvement or they are down right rude. The real problem is they are in my building which makes it hard to ignore them. There are better coffees and better shops

I loved this little coffee joint in the middle of a busy Chicago street. It was very close to the subway station and was kinda hip. Nice and cozy, good service. You can walk up and order a latte and wait. Limited seating bar style as well as a few tables. The glass windows have a good view of the street and the coffee is great. They have restrooms. They got some good coffee - own brand for sale in the store along with a limited bakery selection. The service time is average and usually there is a crowd. Nice place to grab a quick cup of coffee that isn't Starbucks.

Always enjoy a good cup of coffee. Finally had the opportunity to stop here. Had a quad espresso and a cortado.

The workers were friendly and the service was good. An issue is that it has little seating. And what seating they do have is taken up by people doing diddly on their laptops. They all take two seats, one for them and one for their bag. They don't have a time limit and can't spend a while there causing a lack of business. They really should have a small area for laptop people only.

One of my favorite coffee shops in the city. The vanilla latte is amazing not too sweet just right. This location is very close to Millennium Park.

The quiet place near Millennium Park. Works on Saturday and Sunday, it’s an amazing point for Chicago!

Service was very good and location/ambiance was nice. I really wanted to like this place although my iced latte with oat milk and ganache syrup (I think) wasn’t that great. But it might be worth trying for yourself!

An authentic, modern coffee house with a nod to a sort of paired down, simple approach to serving coffee and espresso, but deliciously rich and creamy lattes and espressos. It was brisk when we went and we seemingly got the last two seats, surrounded by hip 20 somethings all on devices enjoying their own favorite espressos. I personally enjoyed a straight latte that felt velvetty and smooth with no need for any add-ins that one might find at a chain coffee shop...

Great atmosphere, great tea, great coffee. I ordered an herbal tea that was wonderful. My chocolate croissant was tasty too! Staff was friendly and the vibe is upbeat but not too crazy. The place was crowded at 9 am on a Tuesday, but it’s a good place so that’s to be expected. $2 coffee beans on Tuesdays!

The staff were SUPER helpful and fun to talk to! They really give the location a great atmosphere. The coffee itself was pretty decent, but finding good seating will be a challenge because it fills up fast. My only complaint was that the bathrooms were kind of gross.
